Chosen History
Chosen Networks, Inc. began its work as C.H.O.S.E.N. in 1994 with a team of visionaries in The Bronx, NY. In addition to creating Chosen Inc., Chosen held Group Coaching meetings and workshops that inspired and empowered the young men and women in the Bronx community. The founders of Chosen became passionate and compelled to bring new concepts, philosophies, and ways of living that opened doors of opportunity and possibility for these extraordinary young adults. The founders watched, astounded and moved, as the group of young Bronx natives began, for the first time, to consciously change the course of their life with the newfound knowledge, awareness, and understanding that they had gained.
After branching out in to other parts of the Tri-State area, and becoming Chosen Networks Inc, the decision was made to integrate the incredibly effective group coaching dynamic of Peer Coaching into the practices of Chosen Coaching & Consulting.

The Founders
Emanuel “PRiZM” Roman
Emanuel Roman, Co-Founder of Chosen Coaching and Consulting and lead coach and trainer, is well known for his leadership in Hip Hop Advocacy, Youth Mentoring, Young Entrepreneur Assistance, Business & Career Consultation and Motivational Speaking. Emanuel has also been recognized for assistance in the development of young entrepreneurs, small businesses, non-profit and grassroots organizations, departments, workflow processes and employee performance. He brings a unique and diverse set of skills, training and experience to his coaching, training and consulting practice.
Manuel “Acer” Oquendo
Manuel Oquendo, Co-Founder of C.H.O.S.E.N. and Chosen, Inc and Marketing Manager for Chosen Networks Inc, has built a career on his passion for Hip Hop Activism, Youth Mentoring, Community Service, Social Awareness and Business Consulting. Manuel has lived his life in the Heart of the Home of Hip Hop in The Bronx River Housings, where many say the Hip Hop culture really started. Manuel has devoted his life to serving this community and communities like it in the inner cities of America, by providing community events that promote unity, peace, awareness, and community support. These events also provide an opportunity for local entrepreneurs to promote their talents, skills and services to the people in their local areas. He brings his passion for serving the community to every aspect of his career.
